(It is actually a Plugin which goes on top of a normal WordPress site.)

BuddyPress is not a global Facebook-type social network, BuddyPress is very much niche. That means whatever you and I create for content belongs to us, it is ours, not Facebooks, Twitters or whoever.

That also means that whoever joins this site is more likely to have an interest in what is going on here. On Facebook and Twitter and so on, there is a lot of “noise” or chatter, much of which is of little interest. Here you can choose to follow or join groups of your interest, or to create special mini-networks.

A couple of things I would like to draw your attention to:

Privacy:

You are able to send private messages to your friends which will only be visible to you and your friend. It is a type of private email system between you and your friends.

After you register, you can add or delete or change information on your Profile page. For example, you might want to add your “Interests”, your first language, link to your website or Facebook profile or whatever your preferences are. You can also invite your friends to register and to see your profile, just as Facebook and Twitter offer. And you have the choice to make your Profile, Groups or whatever you do public or private. You decide.

Passwords:

As with most sites you register for, you should pick a password you can remember. We recommend writing down your user-name, the email address you register with and of course your password. We as Administrators of this site cannot see your password so we can’t help if you lose it. (If you know your user-name and email address, we can reset a password, that’s about all.)

And in case you missed it, you can also login using your Twitter or Facebook accounts instead of having to create a new account here.

Administration of Groups

Whoever creates a Group will probably administer that group. The person who creates the group can edit, create, delete and otherwise care for the group. As said above, you can create Public groups (recommended) or Private groups (we, the site admins can view private groups, edit, delete and flag if we see inappropriate content).

I can imagine that some groups will be created and then the creator will forget about the group or be unable to care for it. If you see a group like this, please let us know. Also, if you would like to become the admin for a group, let us know. We can give you admin privileges.

Group / Forum / Comment Rules

We mention this elsewhere, but again, keep your temper under control please. Treat each other with respect please. We especially want this site to encourage each other. Of course religious topics are controversial but we can still discuss things with love and respect. Specific rules will be placed in the Tech Desk Group but in short, our simple rule is based on Matthew 7:12. Thank you.

من جهة أخرى، أكد العفاسي حرص الوزارة الجاد على إلغاء نظام الكفيل لما له من عواقب وخيمة وسلبيات إنعكست وبالاً على المجتمع الكويتي بصفة عامة، وعلى صورة الكويت في المحافل الدولية بصورة خاصة، مشيراً إلى أن الوزارة لا تألو جهداً في الإنتهاء من هذا النظام تدريجياً حتى لا يحدث خلل في سوق العمل.

وقال العفاسي في تصريح صحافي اليوم الأربعاء :”إن إجراءات إلغاء نظام الكفيل دخلت حيز التنفيذ الفعلي بداية من القرار الصادر أخيراً القاضي السماح للعمالة الوافدة بالتحويل من دون إذن الكفيل بعد مرور ثلاث سنوات أو انتهاء العقد، لاسيما قبول شكاوى التظلم ضد بلاغات التغيب لتقليص قيود أصحاب الأعمال على العمال، إضافة إلى العمل على تسهيل إجراءات الإنتقال من صاحب عمل إلى آخر دون قيود أو معاناة تذكر”.

Prayer points:

1- Pray for the minister of social affairs to keep on changing the laws and find the best way to replace the ” Kafeel ” sponsorship system.

2- Pray for stability at the government in order to see the results of efforts for the correct ministers.

3- Pray for the business men who is putting pressure over the social affairs minister not to cancel the sponsorship system.

4- Pray that by end of this year 2010 , this system will canceled and replaced with a Godly system to assure the Freedom in Kuwait

Beginning this weekend, we will be encouraging you in your giving and worshipping. Our heart’s desire is that you are strengthened and see yourself the way that God sees you. We want you to understand how when you give Him your best, all your rest is secured!

The Lord is looking for a generation. He is looking for a leadership. He is looking for an individual who will EXPECT Him to perform His Word! When He finds that people and sees their leadership, He reiterates His plan for them to prosper. When His time is perfect, He will manifest His blessings to you. Here is what He said to Joshua, son of Nun, Moses’ minister, when His time had come to manifest the promise:

“Moses My servant is dead. So now arise [take his place], go over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land which I am giving to them, the Israelites. Every place upon which the sole of your foot shall tread, that have I given to you, as I promised Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon to the great river Euphrates – all the land of the Hittites [Canaan] – and to the Great [Mediterranean] Sea on the west shall be your territory. No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life.

“As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. Be strong (confident) and of good courage, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Only you be strong and very courageous, that you may do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you. Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.

“This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.

“Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (AMP)

Let me prophesy this Scripture to you:

“The time has come to get up and move into what I have for you. The last leadership has passed. You sat under their training and gleaned from them. However, there were things I wanted to do on their behalf that they never allowed Me to accomplish. You rise up. I will give you both the wilderness and the richness of the territory. I will give you every enemy in your territorial boundary that I have promised. I have been waiting for you to enter these blessings. The blessings are in your blood. Your bones cry out for what I have to give you. Your heart is filled with desire for what I have promised you. Be confident in what I have done in you! Be confident in ME!

“EXPECT Me to work on your behalf. Align your desires with My desires for you. My desires are best. I have already promised your father and mother what I would do, so you expect Me to do this now! Do not violate My boundaries. Walk wisely and circumspectly before Me and you will prosper. Meditate, chew My words to you, and you will succeed. You will see your way as a prosperous way and not one cursed and littered with death and destruction. You will have good success if you EXPECT Me to move on your behalf. Let this word invigorate you. My vigor will dispel fear. Enter in now and daily allow Me to guide you. No enemy on your path can stop you. You will know when to Stop and when to Go! EXPECT to hear Me daily and feel My presence directing you. Expect Me! This is a time to possess and occupy My best for you.”

God is hearing the prayers of His people and changing the sponsorship laws.

This week one Pastor managed to stamp his residency AS A PASTOR without requiring any Kuwaiti sponsor.

This is considered a historical change in the sponsorship laws.

All of creation is waiting for the revelation, manifestation of the children of God. So rise up. Kingdom, rise up.”It’s time for a war in the heavens. It’s time for a thunderous clash. It’s time for a war in the second heaven. Just show up and release your voice. Make your voice heard in the heavens.”

Notes:

• God is changing leadership of the Arabic Church, some will be called and some will insist to stay without a call.
• It is time to hear the Lord for the Land, and it is time to be qualified for the call.
• The call of God will give Grace to continue, listen to the Lord at this time and ask the Lord for a new, fresh call. God may renew the call and give grace or you may move with the heart and feeling of the flesh and miss your chance.
• The church of Kuwait is passing through a time like Abraham, to choose the promised son (God’s way) or to find an earthly way and get Ishmael.

Add to your Prayer Chain

Please pray for God’s people to obey and choose the way God wants them to follow, not what they feel to do or what the need “tells” them to do.

Special prayer for the Pastor to hear what the Lord says about his stay in Kuwait and if it is God’s time for him to leave or stay. Pray that he discern God’s hand in all this and God’s desire to heal the Land either by his stay or even by him leaving. It is time to pray as a responsible servant of God, not as a father to a family.

Pray also for the people who God calls to leave their jobs and set themselves apart for his service.

More prayers needed for the Churches pastors to listen to God’s voice and obey at this time of shifting.

God is in control no matter what man says or does…

The SPONSORSHIP law is affecting everyone in Kuwait. It even touches the pastors of the church in Kuwait. One pastor is being pushed to leave the country due to this law! (His sponsor does not want to renew his residency.)

The body of Christ is crying out to God to change this law and see this nation cleansed. Our prayer:

May God protect Kuwait, the Al Sobah family and all Kuwaitis and non-Kuwaitis from any harm. May God bless His peace to continue over this land forever. Amen

Points to reflect on in prayer:

1- KEEP praying for the cancellation of the SPONSORSHIP law.

2- Pray for the sponsor of Pastors to have wisdom and to obey God rather than man.

3- Ask God to do his will when Pastors are being pushed out. Should they leave or stay? Is it God’s time for anyone to leave? Lord, Your will be done! You open or close doors and show if it is your will and timing to leave Kuwait.

4- Ask God to speak to the hearts of those who are threatened to leave, to listen and understand what God wants of them at this time. In other words, pray that they obey God’s voice at this time, not man’s voice.

5- Pray for the Church leaders and people to open their eyes and see God behind the situation and understand the voice of God.

6- Pray for protection to pastor’s families and boldness.

7- Pray the Word of God, specifically the ISSACHAR ANOINTING 1Chronicals 12:32.

8- Pray for God’s healing and for the church to do the God’s ministry in and of peace.

9- Pray that the church will align with God’s will no matter what is the price the Church should pay. Pray also for leaders to be aligned with God’s dream for this nation and open their heart to discern and know whom they should align themselves with. This year, alignment will define the years that follow.

10- A word for the wise: “Do not stop half way. God is leading you to a goal. Even my detours are paths of glory for you. Ask me, and I will answer you. Ask me before you take decisions. Begin to live according to my revelations. Pay attention to your dreams. Actualize them. I will furnish you with new strength, courage and boldness. Be convinced in everything you do. Ensure that you have my confirmation in every step you take. My Spirit will bear yours witness. Do nothing without my Holy Spirit. Wait constantly on my leading. I will direct your steps.’
