According to the Arab Times, the Prime Minister of Kuwait is facing no problem in forming a new government, but he needs more time to finalize certain issues. It is important for the country to form a good cabinet since the cabinet has the most responsibility for economic development. To that end Member of the National Working Bloc Saleh Al-Fadalah said “we will not force HH the Prime Minister to speed-up the formation of the new government, especially since the Constitution does not have any specific article for this issue.”

Stressing the Prime Minister has the right to take all the time he needs to form the new government, Al-Fadalah said “the political situation of Kuwait and the region cannot afford any new political turbulence.” Part of the concern has been the 14 different ministers in 16 years assigned as Minister of Commerce and Industry. Businesses have felt the unrest and now Kuwait wants to take its time to regroup.

Again, the importance of prayer at this time for a wise cabinet is critical to the country’s future since good counsel brings with it wisdom.

Over the coming days the Prime Minister, the Parliament Speaker and leaders of all political blocs in the country will be sitting together to discuss the issues and the future of the country before a cabinet is announced.
