In 1952 President Truman established one day a year as a “National Day of Prayer.”

In 1988 President Reagan designated the first Thursday in May of each year as the National Day of Prayer.

In June 2007 (then) presidential candidate Barack Obama declared that the USA was no longer a Christian nation.

In 2009 President Obama canceled the 21st annual National Day of Prayer ceremony at the White House under the rouse of “not wanting to offend anyone”

On September 25, 2009 from 4 am until 7 pm, a National Day of Prayer for the Muslim religion was held on Capitol Hill, beside the White House. There were over 50,000 Muslims that Day in DC.

The direction the USA is headed should strike fear in the heart of every Christian. Especially knowing that the Muslim religion believes that if Christians cannot be converted they should be annihilated.

The words of 2 Chronicles 7:14:

“If my people, Who are called by my Name,

We must pray for Our nation, our communities,

Our families, and especially our children.

They are the ones that are going to suffer the most.

Added to this, Judge Barbara B. Crabb declared the National Day of Prayer unconstitutional. Despite the ruling, the White House has confirmed that President Obama will issue the annual proclamation on the first Thursday of May as planned (as he is currently required to do by law). (Much of the Facebook discussion was that Obama had “canceled” the Day of Prayer.)

The Spirit of the Lord Said:

“God is going to start a mighty move of the Holy Spirit from Kuwait. Kuwait is the staging area of a great move of God that will affect the whole Middle East. The women of God are going to be used in unique way to reach others for the gospel. There will be a whole movement of women “Deborah’s” that God will use to turn their whole families to the Lord.

The church in Kuwait has an Antioch anointing and will be used as a teaching center for the gospel. Many prophets will be raised up who will be sent out throughout Iraq, Iran, and Syria. There will be unique relationships that will be built covenantly through out the Middle East. The men will rise up as powerful warriors in the spirit and a whole men´s prayer movement will spring forth.

God is doing a new thing such as the world has never seen. The Lord has caused this part of the world to be called the Middle East because its anointing is to be peacemakers. The enemy is trying to hurt the reputation of this area, but God will arise as the Captain of the Lord of Hosts and change the whole region as the power of the Holy Spirit sweeps through with signs and wonders. ”

Kuwait at the heart of the Lord is light house to the Gulf (where Islam started) and a gate way to the ME.

Kuwait is the Stepping Stone that the Lord is using to spread the Good News for the Region.(see the Map & how God Kept Kuwait , a very small county , between Saudi Arabia , Iran & Iran. God will Penetrate those nations and the whole region with his Glory , when Kuwait shine with the Lord’s Glory.

Like Bethlehem to the Jews & the Gentile ..Kuwait for the Muslim world.. out of Kuwait will come the light to Change the Muslim world.

Kuwait Parliament Election – please pray

Luke 2:1-7

” 1 ¶ And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.

3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

This had been prophesied many many years earlier by prophet Micah, many times the perfect will of God, which is high above man’s will, cannot be accomplished without a certain ruler in place.

Until Caesar Augustus came in place, Quirinius could not reorder the steps of those under his rule, thereby positioning & fulfilling God’s will for Bethlehem & the redemptive plan of the world.

Therefore, with each political change, we must watch carefully for God’s ultimate plan to be revealed.

For years , the Lord spoken over Kuwait to be the lighthouse for the Gulf and a gateway to the Middle east.

Moreover , Kuwait for the Muslim world is like Bethlehem for the world , out of Kuwait will come the light and salvation for the Muslim world.

This had been prophesied many many years earlier by many prophets. but still not come to pass & we were wondering why many many governments changed recently in Kuwait with different parliament members. But the Lord revealed for us that he is preparing “as his own heart government ” that will unlock this nation to fulfill God’s will & could reorder the steps of those under Al Sobah Rules, thereby positioning & fulfilling God’s will for Kuwait & the redemptive plan of the Muslim world.

14 former MPs bow out of election race – 195 male, 16 female candidates left in the fray , as the door is closed today for any candidates withdrawal.

We pray that in elections the new government to be the one God is forming to accomplish the redemptive purpose of this nation.

Nations Align Apostolically with Israel!

During the “Starting the year off right,” Dan Juster shared with us the importance of aligning ourselves with Israel, and as an Arab, it looks like a far-a-way dream to see this happen, but by faith I joined hands with Dan, Chuck, Peter and others to be aligned as Arabs with God’s covenant order.

When I was praying for the “Arab Economic Summit – Kuwait“, I was praying for the alignment of the Arab leaders with the Will of God, especially during the Conflict in Gaza.

On the 21st January 2009, the first page in the Kuwaiti newspaper Al Qabas ( http://www.alqabas.com.kw/ ) surprisingly , Dr. Ahmad Abdul Aziz Al muziany ( Al Muziany Tribe is a huge trip living in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia) made a paid advertising, speaking to the Arab leaders and addressing the King of Saudi Arabia & the other Islamic leaders in the world, asking them to “Stop the fight with Israel” and “TO GET ALIGNED WITH ISRAEL“ !!

Praise the Lord … Faith Works.

The good Dr. is urging the Arabs & Islamic nations to think again about the violence against Israel and not only to stop the violence, but to co-operate with Israel as an advanced nation. He state that by working and accepting them, we will catch up with civilization since we are 100 years behind.

He asked the Muslims nations to accept peace with Israel as the Islamic Jehad failed to help the Muslims around the world, specifically in the last 60 years.

Finally he asked to accept Palestine as a nation of Muslims, Christian & Jews in harmony while canceling Fatah , Hamas and all other Jihad organizations.

His conclusion is … “GET ALIGNED SINCE JIHAD IS USELESS”

I feel what this man wrote is a prophetic voice to Muslims & Islamic leaders around the world… Let us pray that this article will find an ear with the King Abdulla Ben Abdul aziz and other Islamic leaders especially in the Arabian Gulf. And let us seek the Lord for alignment with his heart at the Middle East.

“Cabinet resigns in fresh crisis” Please Pray for the Peace of Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, March 17: The Kuwaiti cabinet resigned on Monday alleging that the opposition-dominated Parliament refused to cooperate, in the latest political crisis to hit the country. The move raised the prospects of a new dissolution of Parliament and early elections, amid rising sectarian tensions and non-stop confrontations between MPs and the government.

His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, a nephew of HH the Amir, handed the letter of resignation to HH the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, as the Amir is out of the country. During the weekly cabinet meeting, First Deputy Premier and Defence Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Sabah earlier tendered the resignation of cabinet ministers en masse to the prime minister, citing non-cooperation from MPs.

“It is regrettable that we have been confronted with obstructive positions and practices” from MPs, the defence minister said in the letter, which was made public. Sheikh Jaber added that MPs “have refused to respond positively to the extended hand of government and its appeals for a constructive cooperation. “Our political scene has lately witnessed events that undermine our national unity, in addition to confrontations, crises and violations of parliamentary norms,” he said in a clear reference to sectarian tensions. Kuwait has been experiencing sectarian tensions after activists from the Shiite minority held a rally last month to mourn former Lebanese Hezbollah commander Imad Moughniyah, killed in a car bombing in Damascus. On the economic front, Parliament was due to vote Tuesday on a law to increase salaries for Kuwaiti citizens by an extra KD 50 ($188) a month despite strong opposition by the government.

The government last month already raised the salaries of citizens by KD 120 ($450), but that increase was seen as inadequate by a majority of MPs. Under the Kuwaiti Constitution, the Amir can either accept the cabinet’s resignation and ask the current premier or a new one to form a government, or dissolve Parliament and call for early elections. Parliament was last dissolved in May 2006 following a standoff with the government, leading to early elections in June in which women took part for the first time. “I believe that Parliament is going to be dissolved soon and early elections will be held. But this will not resolve Kuwait’s ongoing crises,” political analyst Ayed al-Manna told AFP.

He said such crises would continue as long as the Kuwaiti political system was not fundamentally reformed.
“The solution to our crisis is through allowing the establishment of political parties so the government can enjoy the support of a majority in Parliament,” Manna added.

Political parties are banned in Kuwait, although the government allows political groupings, considered as de facto parties, to operate.

The Amir had faced calls to sack the government, appoint a new premier and hold early parliamentary polls.

Leading liberal MP Ahmad Al-Mulaifi last week said the government should go and called for changes within the ruling Al-Sabah family. He said the premier had failed to carry out reforms and resolve the nation’s crisis.

Sheikh Nasser was appointed premier for the first time two years ago.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Faisal Al-Hajji quoted excerpts of the letter as follows; “It was a great honor for us to be entrusted by His Highness the Amir to the ministerial posts in order to serve our dear homeland.

“However, we faced regrettable obstacles notably the tense relationship between the legislative and executive authorities, the deviation of the concept of parliamentary representation, the infringement on the national unity and the violation of guidelines outlined by the constitution and the internal statutes of the National Assembly.

“The MPs rebuffed the government call for cooperation and achievement of the aspirations of the citizens and tended to practices that could undermine our national unity and security.

“Some MPs tended to transgress the constitutional rules and parliamentary norms with a view to escalate the tension with the government and meddle in the affairs of ministers,” according to the letter of resignation.

“Such practices widened the gap between the government and the Parliament and shrank the chances of positive cooperation between the two authorities.

“The government is no longer able to discharge its duties and responsibilities and push forward the desired development, thus fuelling the feelings of frustration and resentment among the citizens.

“For the above reasons, and in the light of the general atmosphere in the region that necessitate effective cooperation manipulation of all potentials, my colleagues and I deemed it necessary to tender our resignation to your highness.

“We expect your highness to take as usual the wise decision to serve the higher national interests of the nation,” Al-Hajji added citing the letter.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet’s resignation on Monday created a multitude of reactions among the MPs with some saying the decision came at the right time while others predicted it will lead to the dissolution of the Parliament.

MP Dr Waleed Al-Tabtabaei said the resignation was “unexpected considering the Parliament has shown its willingness to cooperate with the Cabinet. There were several attempts to dissolve the National Assembly but MPs have shown tolerance and coordination, which eased the tension in the country. The Cabinet’s decision clearly manifests the worsening relations between the two authorities.” Al-Tabtabaei added approval of the resignation signals the beginning of moves to dissolve the Parliament.

Meanwhile, MP Mohamed Al-Saqer blamed some MPs for spearheading actions to aggravate the tension, which resulted in the Cabinet’s resignation. Al-Saqer said the resignation was unexpected but previous incidents, particularly heated talks on the removal of diwaniyas built on state properties, had somehow given the public an inkling that the resignation is inevitable. Also, he has not discounted the possibility that this decision will lead to the dissolution of the Parliament.
Indicating the Cabinet’s resignation is ‘good news’, MP Ali Al-Deqbasi pointed out “Kuwait is in dire need of a strong and impartial Cabinet.” He hoped the new Cabinet will protect public welfare and comply with the constitution. He also asserted that cooperation between the two authorities is an essential requirement and a constitutional duty. Al-Deqbasi confirmed there is a high probability that the five constituencies electoral system will be implemented in the next parliamentary elections.

MP Ahmed Baqer agreed with his colleagues, saying, “the Cabinet made a right decision as per the law and constitution.” He said the Cabinet has failed to win the support of the majority at the Parliament from the beginning due to its inability to efficiently execute its programs. “Various issues turned out to be sources of conflict. Lack of cooperation between the two authorities as well as the worsening conditions of the state have made it essential for the Cabinet to resign,” he opined.

Blaming both the Cabinet and Parliament for the escalation of tension in the country, Dr Ali Al-Omair said the Cabinet resigned in the nick of time. This decision, he added, will prevent an imminent political crisis and give the new government a chance to carry out the instructions of HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. On the possible dissolution of the Parliament, Al-Omair said this will give Kuwaitis an opportunity to wisely choose their representatives.
Meanwhile, Convener of the Independent Islamic Bloc MP Jaber Al-Muhailbi stressed the Cabinet should explain its decision. He said the bloc has expressed satisfaction over the resignation of the Cabinet which, he believes, is weak and incompetent. He has also refuted the Cabinet’s allegation that the Parliament is uncooperative.

Criticizing the government for its inability to address various issues, such as the KD 50 additional increment and organization of diwaniyas, MP Mizel Al-Nimran said the Parliament has always been supportive of the Cabinet. “The Parliament has given in to the demands of the Cabinet several times in the past, such as the postponement or cancellation of some proposals, especially the no-confidence vote for Minister of Education and Higher Education Nouriya Al-Subaih,” he argued.

“We have expected the Cabinet’s resignation since its formation due the absence of effective planning, no sense of responsibility and strained relations with the Parliament,” says MP Jamal Al-Omar adding there are numerous indicators of the Cabinet’s failures and inability to address the issues. Islamic Independent Bloc members MPs Abdullah Akash and Saad Al-Shurai commended the Cabinet for its resignation. Both MPs also accused the Cabinet of obstructing the development process in the country. Since the Cabinet is weak, Al-Shurai said its resignation is the only acceptable decision, especially after walking out of the National Assembly session hall during the voting on the proposed KD 50 additional increment for Kuwaiti employees.

MP Dr Daifallah Buramiya, however, believes the Cabinet announced its resignation later than expected. Describing the Cabinet as ‘incompetent, a failure and paralyzed’, he said the executive authority has failed to address many pressing issues, such as the condolence meeting for slain Hezbollah commander Imad Moughniyah and the KD 50 increment. MP Mussein Mezyed stressed the Cabinet’s resignation is a way to escape from any confrontation due to its inability to handle several pending issues, particularly those concerning public welfare. “The resignation came at a time when the Parliament is preparing for a crucial session,” Mezyed pointed out. Asserting the Cabinet is like a ‘social’ disease, MP Mohammed Al-Mutair urged the Cabinet members to stand firm in their decision to improve the worsening condition of the country.

As you all know, we dedicated year 2008 to pray for Changing the Nation of Kuwait and we started our Cry with Cry to the Lord to cancel the sponsorship system in Kuwait, we declared that on 4th. Feb. 2008 during the celebration of one year for that web site.

And as we know that God is using the news papers to encourage us with his answers of our prayers, after 36 days of the declaration , KUNA announced:

“The system would be scrapped within 15 months”

We know that it is” little cloud out of the sea ” ( 1 Kings 18 : 44 ) , but we know that God is about something.

Kuwait mulls end to sponsorship system

KUWAIT, March 11, (KUNA): Kuwait’s Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor has already begun to ponder over a mechanism aiming to end the sponsor system as a state policy, a senior ministry official said here Tuesday. Mohamed Al-Kandari, undersecretary of the ministry, made the remarks following a meeting of the permanent committee on the organization of foreign workers in the private sector, under the chairmanship of Minister of Justice, Social Affairs and Labor Jamal Al-Shihab. Officials from the ministries of the interior and commerce, Kuwait Municipality and Chamber of Commerce and Industry were present at the meeting.

He quoted the minister as hailing such a step as a state policy and expecting a relevant clear-cut future vision following the abolition of the sponsor system. Al-Kandari predicted that the system would be scrapped within 15 months, saying the conferees had explored several alternatives through a set of studies presented by experts of the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the Kuwaiti ministry. The new system will be adopted in a way that will fulfill international requirements and criteria for foreign laborers, he said, noting that it would ensure the interests of employers and employees altogether. The conferees also considered a proposal for setting up new labor housing cities on state lands, which would meet relevant ILO requirements and answer the needs of foreign workers, he concluded.

Please pray for the following:

1- God’s protection for the Committee members that seeking the new system instead of the existing sponsorship system.

2- For the permanent committee responsible for the organization of foreign Workers in the private sector, to make a new
REAL laws that will release the Nation of Kuwait to God destiny, not false laws to manipulate the pressure
over them from ILO.

3- Pray that before the 15 months the sponsorship system will be cancelled (Before mid of 2009).

4- Pray for the “several alternatives” that the Committee is studying, to choose The Godly System which will rise up the
Justice and demolish the Corruption at Kuwait .

5-Pray that this New Laws will bring forth a new immigration rules which gives the rights for the born in Kuwait People and
the Businessmen to have Permanent residency in Kuwait.

6- Pray for the International Labor Organization (ILO) to have a discern of any manipulation that the Committee may do
due to the pressure of the Kuwaiti Business people who does not want the Sponsorship laws to be cancelled , like:
Any false laws, delays, unreal solutions, false reports …etc.

7- Pray for the protection for Mr. Jamal Al-Shihab the Minister of Justice, Social Affairs and Labor, and the Chairman of
the Committee also Mr. Mohamed Al-Kandari, undersecretary of the ministry Pray for Wisdom and Godly courage & discern
for the officials presented at the committee from the ministries of the interior and commerce, Kuwait Municipality

Cry out for “a political decision to cancel the Sponsorship ( guarantor ) system “ in Kuwait – Part 2

Canceling the guarantor system requires a political decision to stand up to the employers.

Interview by Hamed Al-Sayed:

The representative of the International Labor Organization in Kuwait, Thabet al-Haroun, confirmed that canceling the Sponsorship ( guarantor ) system requires a political decision in order to confront and stand up to the employers who will definitely be harmed as a result of the cancellation of this system, which brings great benefit to them. He expected that a conclusive decision be taken in this regard by the beginning of next year 2008 , whether to cancel the system or to keep same while taking some decisions that might reduce its disadvantages.

This statement was made during an interview held by Al-Watan with Al-Haroun, who praised the relation between the State of Kuwait and the International Labor Organization through their cooperation in all kinds of domains, contributing to improving the image of Kuwait in the international gatherings, and their abidance by the international standards.

He revealed that Kuwait took measures prior to the cancellation of the guarantor system, including the issuance of the Ministry of Affairs several resolutions such as the establishment of 8 lodging centers for the incoming labor and the cancellation of the notifications of absence in addition to the issuance of a resolution prohibiting the employers from confiscating the incoming workers’ passports, indicating that the State of Kuwait is considered from among the countries that are committed to applying the international standards, where it has signed 18 international agreements of the basic agreements in the International Labor Organization. It also agreed to declare the Organization’s main principles. Details of the interview are as follows:

¼ can you give us a glimpse of the relation between the International Labor Organization and the member States, the services that the Organization offers them and the obligation of these States towards the Organization.

- The International Labor Organization consists of three parties, which are the governments, the employers and the workers. Its first concern is to apply its principles and abide by the international labor standards, which were agreed upon at the conferences. This Organization’s achievement was crowned with the announcement of its main principles. The organization is not seeking to be with one party against another one of the three parties; it is trying to realize balance between the welfare of all parties. It is not partial to any party even if the weakest party is the worker. This is why the Organization coordinated its efforts with the United Nations, and particularly the Human Rights Committee, in view of initiating plans, systems and national work plans for all the States in order to help same to overcome this transformation phase. We are perfectly sure that all the countries, including America and Europe, are facing problems of immigration and labor movement all the violations resulting from same. However, the difference lies in the type of problems and violations between one country and another. For example, the GCC countries have made a major mistake when they did not draw up regulations of labor employment from the beginning in spite of the existence of the laws. However, these laws are either inapplicable or they are applicable in distorted kind of way. Consequently, this huge amount of incoming labor created a burden on these countries. This is why treating the incoming labor issues requires a political will and decisive positions as well as international expertise.

Does this mean that Kuwait and the Gulf countries are facing problems related to the incoming labor?-

Without referring to diplomacy, the State of Kuwait and the Gulf countries are starting to take notice of the error in dealing with the incoming labor. It is only natural that Kuwait needs this labor and to increase the number thereof in order to contribute in the developmental projects that are becoming bigger day by day. This is why they initiated a new system under the instructions of his Excellency Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and under the supervision of the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, expressing the sincere will of the Kuwaiti government to deal with the incoming labor issues. This is how the relation was born and is now starting to be established between the International Labor Organization and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, where the Organization has expressed its readiness to offer all available expertise to the State of Kuwait, and Kuwait approved thereto. Consequently, an expert was brought in to conduct a study in view of finding alternatives to the complicated guarantor system, which cancellation is not deemed to be easy and requires an explicit political position and the confrontation of the employers, who do not have any interest in canceling the guarantor system, in addition to providing experts and then taking the decision.

Do you consider that the State of Kuwait is serious as to the cancellation of the guarantor system?-

Canceling the guarantor system has become a must and there is no escaping it, but no one knows the timing of such cancellation or the alternatives of this system. I expect that after the study prepared by the International Labor Organization in this regard, a conclusive decision shall be taken concerning the guarantor by the beginning of next year, whether to cancel the system or keep on working under it.

What makes you think that Kuwait is serious in finding alternatives for the guarantor system and canceling same?-

The seriousness of Kuwait in this matter was reflected in taking a set of organizational decisions prior to the cancellation of the guarantor system such as the decision of not allowing the guarantors to confiscate the workers’ passports. This was among the recommendations stated in the report of the International Labor Organization. Another decision is to establish lodging centers for the incoming workers, in which shall participate several active governmental institutions including the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Affairs and the Ministry of Justice. These centers shall receive workers, follow up and solve their problems and help them get their entitlements, for they will not be mere lodging centers. There will be 8 lodging centers distributed to all the districts of Kuwait. The International Labor Organization, in coordination with the State of Kuwait, shall hold training sessions to qualify the employees who will be working in the lodging centers. In preparation for the cancellation of the guarantor system, the Ministry of Affairs also took a decision to cancel all the notifications of absence against the incoming labor, where many of the notifications made by the guarantor against the workers are most of the times arbitrary and malicious. Furthermore, they decided to activate the Work Relations Department, which shall solve the problems of the incoming labor and avoid referring these problems to the judicial courts as much as possible. The Department will also hire experts and specialists to train the workers in the Department to solve such problems before referring same to the courts, for they will take a lot of time to be settled in court.

What about the new Labor Law in the Public Sector? Did Kuwait take into consideration the remarks of the Organization regarding same?-

The new Labor Law will treat a lot of the current disadvantages in the work and labor market. It should be noted that the new draft law is being submitted to the National Assembly at the present time, and it shall be discussed soon as we have been informed by the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor. In fact, the State of Kuwait has taken into consideration a lot of the remarks made by the International Labor Organization regarding the new labor draft law. The Kuwaiti government is still applying a lot of amendments to the law as to make it compatible with the international labor standards, knowing that the State of Kuwait approved 18 international agreements, which were considered to be major agreements, in addition to the approval of the State of Kuwait to declaring the main principles issued by the International Labor Organization. Consequently, the State of Kuwait is committed to abiding by the international standards.

What is the mission of the International Labor Organization team which will be visiting the country next November?-

The team that will be visiting Kuwait mid-November will be charged with drawing up a plan and a national labor plan for the State of Kuwait, in which will participate all the State’s ministries. This confirms the fact that the relation between Kuwait and the Organization shall not be restricted to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor alone; it shall include all the concerned Ministries such as the Ministry of Planning, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Commerce. The national labor program will include going over all the laws related to the work market, the residential structure and the safety conditions, where experts from the British police, who have experience in labor safety issues, will be brought in.

Does the International Labor Organization play an important role in facing the violations that the incoming labor is exposed to such as confiscating the labors’ passports, delaying the payment of their salaries or referring them to investigations?

- The Organization has built bridges of trust with departments and officials at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor. This helped us to solve many labor issues that are submitted daily to us at the Organization before they are referred to the courts, not for doubt in our Kuwaiti courts that are known for their integrity and which judgments we trust, but we aim at solving the problems before they reach the courts because they will take longer to be settled in court and there are decisions taken by the Ministry of Affairs that organize the work market. Most of the labor problems are settled in record time with the cooperation of the concerned authorities. These claims are not submitted in reports to the Organization so as not to register remarks and violations on the State of Kuwait; we seek to solve the problems inside Kuwait in an official manner, and the government is very cooperative with us in this aspect.

How can the relation between Kuwait and the International Labor Organization be evaluated?

- If the State of Kuwait carries on its current efforts to coordinate with the Organization and issue positive decisions, there will not be any remarks to be registered on the State of Kuwait. However, if any recession occurs for any reason whatsoever, the status of Kuwait in the Organization will change. I expect that the cooperation with Kuwait continues as long as the current Minister of Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah is the Head of the Ministry. If any change occurs at the ministry and the minister is replaced by another minister who is not as cooperative as Minister Al-Khaled, his will be a grave blow to the future of the cooperation between Kuwait and the International Labor Organization.

We Have a blessed Nations..and God blessed Kuwait with the Royal family Al Sobah Family,and any one has a friend from the royal family, will understand how they are real good people , with a heart full of pasion for the poor and his highness is ding his best for have a JUST nation.

We Pray for the PEACE of Kuwait & and protection for the Royal Family Al Sobah and the all who is living in Kuwait , both non-Kuwaities & Kuwaities.
But …. the laws has to change .. in order to have a blamless nation … the first law which has to be changed is the Law of Sponsorship (The Kafeel) …
one of our friends translated the attached file from AL WATAN NEWS PAPER and we would like to start celebrating the first year for the web site by crying to the Lord to change Kuwait … through canceling the Sponsorship laws, which is the Modern Slavery in the region.

The Labor Organization shall draw up the population structure plan in Kuwait

A delegate from the International Labor Organization shall be arriving to Kuwait next November. Its objective is to “go over the laws related to the work market, the population structure and the safety conditions”.

The representative of the International Labor Organization in Kuwait, Thabet Al-Haroun, stated that “canceling the sponsorship (guarantor ) system requires a political decision to stand up to the employers”, expecting “decisive procedures to be taken in this regard by the beginning of next year 2008”.

He also mentioned that “Kuwait is establishing a national labor program plan in view of going over the work market, the population structure and the workers’ safety, and we are seeking to settle the labor issues without having to submit reports to the International Labor Organization in order to avoid registering any violations on the State of Kuwait”.

Al-Haroun indicated that “procedures shall be taken by the State of Kuwait prior to the cancellation of the Sponsorship (guarantor) system, including the establishment of 8 lodging centers, ceasing notifications of absence and canceling the confiscation of passports”.
